"What to do when someone underestimates you?" -Florida Romero

Have you ever been insulted and belittled by anyone? In what way? So annoying, isn't it?

Learn the "Art of dedma". That’s the best thing you can do!

"DEDMA" is the abbreviated word for dead malice, meaning "just ignore."

For them not to underestimate you, here are the ways:

1. Accept criticisms. Whether it is constructive or destructive, just accept them.

2. Meditate on yourself as well. They will look at your flaws and even your weaknesses. That is why they treat you that way! Remember this old saying, "You cannot please everybody." No matter how good you are, they will focus on your wrongdoings. You will be stressed if you focus on the negativity around you.

3. Let it pass through your ear and release it to the other side. Cheer up and calm down! Show them that you are not affected. What's important is that you do not retaliate.

4. Do not harbor resentment in your heart and do not be angry. Just keep in mind the people who have hurt you! One day you will prove to them that they were very wrong in judging you.

5. Don’t let them destroy your good character.

6. Don’t force yourself to stay with someone who doesn’t accept you. Choose the person who will sympathize with you 'till the end and will never hurt you.

7. Be a good example. Use your talents and abilities to influence them on how to have a positive outlook in life, even if our resilience is severely tested.

8. You don’t have to pretend to do things you don’t want to do. Life is very short. Let’s use it for something meaningful and avoid arguing with each other.

9. If you are a “Christian” do not shame our God who dwells in our hearts. I’m sure God prefers you to love your neighbor, even if they hurt you.

10. Don’t forget to improve yourself. Use your mouth to inspire people, not pure resentment.

Bible verse for you from Matthew 7: 1-3:

1 “Do not judge, or you will be judged.

2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 “Why do you look at the straw in your brother's eye and do not notice the log in your own eye?
