Moving on is a difficult process, a decision that is made gradually, especially if it has been very painful, but you must face life positively to start over and regenerate, and eventually realize that the situation is over.
Here are the 10 steps, I hope it helps a lot.
1. You do nothing. You have nothing to do but keep quiet and reflect on what you are going through.
2. You need to embrace the painful truth. Remember that the truth will set us free. People who continue to live in the past are not free. Accept that the person who hurt us is not for us, so we need to let go. We must face the truth, even when it hurts.
3. Endure the pain. Feel that pain. Do not deceive your feelings. There is nothing wrong with crying. Let it heal on its own. But don’t get too emotional so you don’t get depressed.
4. Know your value. Know your purpose in the world. Everyone is important. So, focus on yourself first so that you can increase your value even more.
5. Enjoy your life with friends. Be happy with the people who care about you. A true friend will never leave you, especially in times of your grief.
6. Enjoy the things you love. It could be your interest in business, cooking, or even a food trip, vacation, watching movies, singing, or dancing. Being active on social media is sometimes entertaining as well.
7. Listen to online advice. YouTube has many professional influencers, and we can get some of their great advice. This can help if you just want your life to be private and don’t want others to know what you’re going through.
8. Decide. Since you are already giving yourself space, it is time for you to decide. If you let the problem mess you up or you want a new phase of life and move on.
9. Be firm in your decision-making and do not be fickle-minded. Think so you don't make mistakes again. It is important to think about this several times. Once your decision is complete, it should be final.
10. Forget the sad parts of life and appreciate its lessons. Life must go on. What matters is that we have learned something from our past. Forget the pain of yesterday. Enjoy the present and welcome your future.
Bible verse:
Isaiah 43: 18- “Forget the former things; don't think of the past. "
Ephesians 4: 22-24
22 You have been taught, about your old way of life, to strip off your old self, which is being destroyed by deceitful desires.
23 To be new in the habit of your mind; and
24 to put on the new man, which is created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
